Located in Zhejiang Province in Eastern China, The University of Nottingham Ningbo China (UNNC) is the first Sino-foreign University in China with approval from the Chinese Ministry of Education. The University offers British degree programmes from The University of Nottingham, UK, and is a campus based institution located in Ningbo Higher Education Park, a leafy suburb on the outskirts of the city centre.
The University of Nottingham Ningbo China offers degrees at both undergraduate and postgraduate level (including PhD's), taught entirely in English. It also provides the opportunity for students to take a preliminary (foundation) year, study half of their degree in the UK, and learn Chinese.

The University's student population has grown from just over 250 to more than 5,000 undergraduate and postgraduate students. The international community is expected to increase considerably as the University expands its range of science and engineering degree programmes. Upon acceptance of an offer, international students are provided with guaranteed accommodation and easy access to a range of amenities on the University’s high street.
The University is familiar with a wide range of overseas qualifications and works closely with the British Council, both in the UK and abroad.
