IESEG’s mission is to train and prepare future executives and leaders in the corporate world both nationally and internationally, create actors of change in a professional environment that is constantly changing and improving.

IESEG was the first business school in France to have a 5 year post- baccalauréat cursus: a 3 year Bachelor programme covering the fundamentals of management followed by a 2 year MSc programme in which the students deepen their management knowledge and choose a specialisation.
In the Masters programme IESEG has 8 fields of specialisation: Marketing, Finance, Human Resource Management, Management of Information Systems, Operations Management, Audit-Control, International Negotiation and General Management.

IESEG is a member of the “Conférence des Grandes Ecoles”, (EFMD European Foundation for Management Development) and AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business), that recognise the quality and excellence of the school.

With an international mind set, IESEG is the first school to offer all the courses on the Masters programme in English. 75% of the permanent academic staff come from a non-french background. All the courses are now given in English in the 3rd year. There are over 200 management courses offered in English.
IESEG has a network of 139 partner universities in 38 countries. 80% of IESEG students take part in our student exchange programme at these universities.

At IÉSEG research and teaching go together and it has high importance in the school. In 2008, the 41 lecturers that hold a Phd published over 100 articles in international scientific journals. IESEG along with HEC Paris, the only French business school where the research centre (IESEG Research) is part of the CNRS.
The amount of importance given to research and the means to undertake this activity, is a guarantee of quality and allows the students to be part of an intellectually stimulating environment.

IÉSEG is part of the Catholic University of Lille, which by the organisation, size, infrastructure, resources and quality is very similar to that of some famous British universities.
As well as the Vauban University library that owns 55.000 books and a subscription to over 600 journals and magazines, houses the Digital network library ( Bibliothèque Numérique en Reseau). It gives students the opportunity of having access to documents via internet.
Being a member of the University also allows IESEG students to have access to lots of other resources: academic exchanges, the cafeteria and university restaurants, halls of residence, the sports centre, medical centre etc.
 

Facilities

IÉSEG has 2 campuses: Lille and Paris.

Lille campus

The first and main IESEG campus is situated in the heart of Lille, known for the warm welcome it gives to outsiders and the dynamism of the city.  With over 100.000 students, Lille is the 2nd largest university city in France.

Belonging to the Catholic University of Lille means that IESEG students and staff can share the facilities available: academic partnerships, 13 libraries, restaurants, halls of residence, a large sports centre and medical centre…. As IESEG is in the city centre there are numerous possibilities for students wishing to enhance their culture, leisure activities and hire apartments or studios.

IESEG’s premises (classrooms, multimedia centres, cafeterias and offices are accessible to students 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. All the students have a magnetic badge that allows personal access. More than 200 computers connected to internet are available to the students and teachers.Vauban University library has over 55 000 books and more than 600 magazines making it a modern “high-tec” area.

Paris campus

The academic year 2009-2010 has seen the Paris campus opening in the heart of the business district of "La Défense" more precisely in the "Grande Arche".

The Paris campus was opened in September 2008. The academic year 2009/2010 opens its doors to 1st and 2nd year students as well as a large number of international students. By 2012 the Paris campus will have the 5 year “Grande Ecole” programme available on site.

On the 6000 m2 platform the campus has 13 amphitheatres, 10 classrooms, 3 multimedia centres, 1 library (350 m2 ) 1 cafeteria and rooms available for school associations.

This prime location allows the school to reinforce its links with companies and build on its already excellent reputation nationally and internationally.

Pre-requisites:

  • Students must be non French residents and have completed 2 years of an undergraduate degree preferably in Economics, Management or Finance.
  • Have a good level in English (ex. minimum TOEIC score of 750 points)

Required documents:

  • Completed application form
  • 3 letters of reference
  • Undergraduate degree transcripts
  • The score of an official English test taken (if English is not your mother tongue)
  • A recent CV
  • Enrolment fee: 130 euros.
Exams - Coefficient

Applying to the Master of Science programme

  • Undergraduate degree transcripts
  • The score of an official English test taken (if English is not your mother tongue)
  • A recent CV
  • Enrolment fee: 120 euros.

  • a certified copy of your academic qualifications (transcripts and degree),
  • your own CV/Resume,
  • a certified copy of your English skills test score,
  • a written report (how is this degree programme going to help you achieve your objectives?)
