Groupe ESC Troyes in Champagne was created in 1992, is therefore the youngest French Business School. It enjoys all national accreditations (full recognition by the national Ministry of Higher Education and Research, accredited by the “Conférence des Grandes Ecoles” de France, etc.) and has just started application for international accreditation (EFMD + AACSB). It runs presently 4 major schools:

  • School of International Business & Management (undergraduate : 4 Year Bachelor’s Degree with Honors, 34 double degrees all over the world,  benefits of a specific label from the French and the German Government )
  • Graduate School of Management (2 Year Master’s Degree with majors in Marketing & Strategy, HRM, Finance, Innovation  & Entrepreneurship).
  • School of Tourism, Leisure & Events Management (3 Year Bachelor’s Degree + MBA)
  • School of Design (3 Year Bachelor’s Degree + 2 Year Master’s Degree)

Groupe ESC Troyes also runs a very important Executive Education Center, including Consulting activities to the benefit of the regional economic networks. It also offers specific programs for Health and Social Professions.

The number of courses taught in English is approximately a third of the whole academic offer, some tracks offered are either taught 100% in English (4 Year Bachelor in International Business & Management; Master in Management, majors “Marketing & Strategy” as well as “Innovation & Entrepreneurship”, MBA in Tourism) or a mix of French and English.

Although it is a quite young institution, Groupe ESC Troyes in Champagne is presently ranked (depending on the papers) between # 18 and # 24 within the traditionally 43 French  “nationally top ranked schools”. It is becoming a visible actor in the fields related to entrepreneurship and leadership : its C.E.O. has been the national President of the Technology & Science Parks Association for ten years, is presently the President of the “Entrepreneurship & Innovation Commission” at the “Conférence des Grandes Ecoles” de France and is involved in many national reflections.

The student population is now 1700 students (440 in 2004) + 380 international exchange students. Its (lively) international network (student and teacher/research exchange) is comprised of 196 partner universities.
