Fees

No tuition fees for all courses of studies but only a semester contribution of actually about 200 Euros per term which includes a semester ticket for the free use of the whole public transport system in Chemnitz and the train throughout Saxony. Applications

There are different application procedures for international applicants at Chemnitz University of Technology: those without German general qualification for university entrance or with a foreign first degree who apply for a whole course of studies have to apply via “uni-assist”, other applicants apply directly at Chemnitz University of Technology. Besides the necessary academic qualifications, for German-speaking courses of studies a successfully accomplished German Language Examination for University Entrance (DSH) is generally necessary. For English-speaking courses of studies the required English language proficiency varies. Exchange students should have some knowledge of German language.
