Overview

I study in UCTI, which works in a partnership with Staffordshire University, UK; it offers a good quality education with a UK certificate to students from all over the world with a much more affordable prices. And the outcome - the degree - is just the same as the UK one! So when the time to choose the university came I had no doubt about UCTI and Malaysia. I had a thought of going to UK when sending my applications to universities, but Malaysia seemed to be more suitable for me in terms of expenses and life-style.

I had visited Malaysia as a tourist before and that time I understood that was the place I wanted to spend my student life at. The blend of nationalities and cultures amazed me and I knew I’m not going to feel out of place there.

Not being too modest I should say I was the top Maths student at school. Therefore I always knew that my path was to apply Maths in daily life, so Computing seemed as a suitable major to get. I’ve done some research and found out that Malaysia was one of the leaders in technologies in South East Asia. And UCTI came up to be the most foremost institute in technologies.

So the choice had been done and I am 1000% sure I will never regret about it! The experience I’m getting at the moment is just overwhelming. I’m a year 2 student, working part time and a member of our Student Council as well. It takes an effort to manage it all, but is definitely worth it. And my life is made really colourful by my friends from all over the world! We all share so much in common but yet we are so different!

And I really enjoy pursuing my degree in Malaysia’s Award-Winning University!
