The Student Recruitment Fairs Norway will take place November 2016 and January - February 2017 in various cities throughout the country.
The Student Recruitment Fairs take place in eleven central cities in Norway during January and February every year with more than 96 000 visitors in total. As an exhibitor at the fairs, you will meet a large number of prospective students and can recruit new Norwegians to your institution!
We highly recommend participating at some of the medium or smaller fairs in addition to the large ones. These fairs have lower visitor numbers, but also fewer exhibitors. This means less competition and more visibility and attention. You may therefore experience better results at lower cost!
Why recruit Norwegian Students?
Studying abroad is becoming more and more popular among Norwegian students. Thanks to the State Educational Loan Fund, they can receive the financial support they need to complete parts of or the entire degree abroad. The number of Norwegian students abroad reached an all time high of 25 000 during the 2014 / 2015 school year.
Norwegian students are fluent English speakers and well prepared for university studies. Students are also adaptable to language and culture and blend well with both local and other international students. Norway has strong traditions for studying abroad and students are encouraged to undertake education in other countries.
Take the opportunity to present and promote directly to your future students your latest educational programs and benefits and advantages that you offer for them. A wide range of both Norwegian and foreign exhibitors participate at the fairs every year. In 2016 more than 150 international exhibitors from 25 different countries were represented. In total, more than 300 exhibitors participated at one or more of the fairs throughout the tour.
