Nitra is the latest location to be added the The Central European Study Abroad Gaudeamus, which has had longterm success in Brno and Prague. Its exhibitions are amongst the best known education and study abroad fairs in central Europe.
Over 8,000 visitors from Slovakia are expected to visit the event, with 180+ exhibitors from EU, USA, Asia and all around the world come to see the Exhibition every year. Participation at the Nitra exhibition is your best way to approach students from the Slovak region. The Exhibition has long tradition, excellent reputation and a very high standard of services for both exhibitors and visitors. It is regarded as a top event by the most prestigious Slovak and European universities.
It is a unique way to provide direct personal contact between students and exhibitors in a pleasant and dynamic atmosphere, with a focus on providing useful information to individual visitors and discussing study opportunities with them.
The Nitra fair will bring together Universities, colleges, education institutions, language schools and other higher schools from all over the world aiming to promote their education programs and recruit Czech and Slovak students.
The percentage of Slovaks with higher education has increased considerably over the last decade and an increasing number of students from Slovakia are studying abroad . Eurostat data indicates that some 12.2% Slovak tertiary students studied in another EU country in 2010. Around 70% of Slovak students who study abroad choose to study in neibhouring countries and 30% choosing to study further a field. Slovak universities are more and more involved in a wide range of international cooperation activities and programmes taking place in the European Union and other countries.
The international education fair in Slovakia 2016 is a new Central European Education and Study Abroad Exhibition where Slovak and other international institutions offer the most of study opportunities for students from central Europe. The exhibition:

A Standard Equipped Stand includes area rental charge; construction fee – back and side walls 2.5 meters high; a signboard with the name of the institution and booth number; a carpet on the floor of the booth; installation, connection and consumption of electricity for two spotlights of 100 watts for every 6 or 9 m2; two entrance passes for exhibitors to the exhibition grounds. The allotted exhibition booth includes basic furniture consisting of one table, two chairs and a brochure/leaflet stand. Additional furniture can be hired as a special service.

EU passport holders will not require a visa to enter Slovakia, although you will need a passport. If you do not have an EU passport please check with your local Consulate or Embassy. You might need to apply for a tourist or business visa, although the latter may take much more time to arrange. Visa support is strictly limited to our exhibiting clients. Visa support is NOT provided to visitors.
